Our Purpose

One5 Foundation (One5) provides people living in extreme poverty the opportunity to develop those aspects of their lives that are integral to achieving their dreams.

Our Mission

One5 lifts up people living in poverty so they can succeed educationally, occupationally, relationally, financially and spiritually so they will, in turn, become leaders and enrich their communities and countries. We start with the most vulnerable of all humans on earth: orphan children.

Our Story

Growing from the vision of the founder of Nueterra Holdings, One5 is working to become a leader in building successful communities. It is our belief that by using an integral approach to understanding the cause of extreme poverty in specific communities and countries, followed by an integral approach to a differential diagnosis and subsequent development strategy, we can change an entire country in a single generation.

Our Leaders

Dan Tasset
Founder

Dan is an entrepreneur who believes in giving back in a big way that goes beyond just simply writing a check. He believes that building leaders for tomorrow’s successful communities will help end extreme poverty. And he has a plan to make that happen. Founder of Nueterra Holdings, Dan established the One5 Foundation to lift up people living in poverty so they can succeed educationally, occupationally, relationally, financially and spiritually. In turn, they will become leaders and enrich their communities and countries.

Growing from Dan’s vision, One5 is working to become a leader in building successful communities throughout the world, beginning with those in the most poverty stricken areas. Dan and One5 believe that by understanding the causes of extreme poverty in specific communities and countries, along with a differential diagnosis and subsequent development strategy, a country can make significant positive changes in a single generation.

Since 1989, Dan has been in the business of working with physicians to develop surgery centers and surgical hospitals. His experience as a CPA providing professional and consulting services to physicians gave him real-world insights about the unique business needs of doctors, and inspired him to start Nueterra. And, in his approach to every project, he never forgets the basic mission of his company: to empower physicians. Because Nueterra is a private company, Dan can devote his time to providing strategic direction, as well as motivational leadership and support to the management team. However, he doesn't believe in ivory towers. To keep attune with the challenges and aspirations of health care providers, Dan always makes time to visit with Nueterra's physician partners and those considering working with his Company. Dan's expertise in the field is well recognized, and he is frequently sought out as a speaker on the current state and future direction of physician sponsored ambulatory care.

Our Approach

The key to our success is our INTEGRAL APPROACH, a view inspired by the philosopher Ken Wilber. We use the most comprehensive map with a developmental view to understand individuals and societies in order to help them achieve their dreams. The key words are:

Comprehensive & Inclusive: a map that is complete enough to capture all critical aspects of life.

Developmental: an evolutionary view of the individual and social stages of development.

In everything we do, we see the individual as part of the social/cultural matrix. The integral vision honors every stage of development and every aspect that contributes to that development. Our assessments and our interventions rest on the conviction that seeds of upward growth are inherent in both individual and group.

Who we are

Our Partners

We actively seek partnerships with organizations sharing our philosophy. Building leaders by addressing integral aspects of living is an enormous task, and no single entity can perform it alone. Our partners can be domestic or foreign, or indigenous to the countries in which we work. At present, some of our partners include:
