The One5 Foundation's Magnate Project is dedicated to fostering an environment in which people can reach their fullest potential by nourishing their hope and talent so that they might benefit themselves and their communities.
Purpose
Throughout the world, people dream of a better life. Because of physical, social, educational, spiritual and other factors, underprivileged individuals may be unable to achieve their dreams, so they and their communities settle into a cycle of poverty and desperation. When they are provided with the opportunities and support to achieve their dreams, successful individuals can in turn bring renewed hope and strength to their communities.
About the Project
Raising entire communities out of the cycle of poverty and desperation is an enormous task. No single entity has the ability to do it. The questions become, "Where do we begin?" and "How do we sustain the momentum that will, in the end, make a real difference?"
It might seem surprisingly simple, but the key to successful communities is successful individuals. The solution lies in the realization of individual aspirations and dreams. The Magnate Project addresses the integral needs of individuals so they can help raise up their own communities.
