EID WORK IN HAITI
LEAWOOD, KAN (November, 2009) -Brad Gautney just returned from Haiti where he met with the staff from Maison de Naissance in Cayes. He trained their staff in Early-Infant Diagnoses (EID) which will allow their site to begin testing HIV-exposed infants at 4-6 weeks instead of 18 months. As with all of the other sites we have collaborated with, this site will eventually fall under the National Program in Haiti which will insure sustainability.
