INTEGRAL LIFE FOUNDATION RETURNS TO HAITI
LEAWOOD, KAN. - (Oct. 20, 2008) - Brad Gautney, Medical Operations Director and Brandon Tasset, Executive Director of the Integral Life Foundation (ILF), just returned from Haiti where they met with partners to discuss the expansion of ILF's pediatric HIV/AIDS work, as well as assessed the current infrastructure of the C3 orphanage and ILF Clinic in Gonaives. During this time, progress was made in plans to roll-out new Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) programs as well as strengthen their HIV Early-Infant Diagnoses (EID) program. They were also able to treat several children living in the orphanage for acute illnesses, and discuss safe-water access with the house mothers overseeing the children in the C3 orphanage.
